Re: mCalendar

Thanks so much for this app khertan! I have been waiting for your multiple calendar release with great anticipation.

I got an error on 3 of my recuring events, saying that e was not globally defined. It apears that on line 123 of msync.py the text reads
Code:

local_event.start_datetime = e.start_datetime.replace(hour=0,minute=0)
when it looks like it should read
Code:

local_event.start_datetime = local_event.start_datetime.replace(hour=0,minute=0)
Oddly, the trace seems to identify the file msync.py as being at /media/mmc1/Projects/mCalendar/usr/lib/msync.py, which I'm sure is where you have the development copy stored. I just expected the traceback to change with file location like I had previously seen.

I'm just starting to poke around on this new version, I'll let you know if I find any thing else or come up with any questions.

Thanks for your hard work!

I get the same error with this latest version. It seems to save my settings just fine now and the sync seems to work exept for somew "e is not defind" errors.

Re: mCalendar

The new version (0.4.4-1) fixed the repeating events issue, thanks for updating so quickly khertan!

I have explored a bit more, and I did find another issue, and a bunch of things I like. First the praise: The day, week, and month views are all great. The way you set up the list view works very well. I really like the calendar coloring, though I would kind of like to see the calendar title or an identifier in the display as well, but I'm not sure how well it would fit in. The preferences work well and are easy to figure out.

My issue is with all day events, they seem to being showing up one day early for me. I filed a bug report, so I won't fill the thread with too much of the details. Essentially it looks like since I am at GMT -4, the all day event is shifted back in the code.

Other than that, I really like the app. You've put together a great program. Thanks again for your hard work!

Re: mCalendar

I downloaded 0.4.4-1 from the extras-devel repository last night. I'm still experiencing the same problem I previously reported:

1. repeating events (every 2nd friday, all day event) does not show at all in the week or month view, displays normally/correctly on the day view. perhaps this is another permutation of the "all day bug" ?

the problem I had, earlier, where events containing an ampersand (&) in the description show blank (but with the appropriate time block) on the day, week, and month views looks like it has been fixed. the event now displays properly in the day, week, and month views. thanks! :)

I'm really enjoying the changes/updates you're making to this application... and, like miind says, it is becoming one of the most-used applications on my tablet. thanks for moving forward with it, adding features and addressing problems quickly. very much appreciated!!

Re: mCalendar

I have with repeating events this kind a problem: repeating event doesn't show in month view at all. I have 1 month interval in event and first interval is ok (1 month) but then (2 months) the next is repeated every weekday. Then the next (3 month) is not there anymore.
