Re: mCalendar
You have to delete /home/user/.mPIM directory.
But I have never had that error. |

Re: mCalendar
hmm, so I deleted the database, and it still got stuck at 60%, but running it from command line shoes its not actually stuck now. Its getting all of the events for calendars im subscribed too (but starting in december, 2009 onwards)
is this a new thing? that it downloads calendar's you're subscribed too? edit: I just got rid of one of the calendars and it is workings fine now (and not downloading any of the other calendars either..) btw, it was a 'remember the milk' calendar, which I never used, but just tried out for a while. So it's not a big deal that I had to remove it, but apparently it doenst play well with the syncing |
Re: mCalendar
jwsnerd, what version of python2.5 do you have installed (you may need to be in red pill mode to find out). The function thats in the error is a normal one that should be included when importing the "gtk" library. The library must have imported, because the logic of the app checks that first and exits with an error if it fails. So for some reason, your tablet doesn't have access to that function.
pomonkey, that issue will be resolved when Khertan enables selecting which calendars to sync with, which I think he has said he is working on. Untill then, you just have to sync all of the calendars. You could create a secondary account, and share just the calendars you want to sync with that account, and then just sync that account instead of your main account with all of the other events. |
Re: mCalendar
go to xterm then type: rm -rf m.PIM this will clear all DB hope i am right , it has been discussed in the thread, enjoy

Ack!
I just synced mCalendar with my GCal...Same Old 404 errors as before with no problems.... BUT now the HomeScreen App is either stuck on "refreshing" or is just a small gray/black oval. mCalendar 0.4.6 homecalendar 0.2.6-1 (uninstalled and reinstalled - no change) |
Re: mCalendar
I've seen that problem!! (and meant to post something here about it)
I had, earlier, mentioned a problem with mCalendar where events with an ampersand (&) would not show up in the calendar. Khertan fixed that problem. I re-edited my event to replace 'and' with '&', and everything was fine... until the day before the event, when my homecalendar display looked like your screen captures, above -- I think the homecalendar app also needs to be modified to allow certain special characters in the event name/description. Once I changed my '&' back to 'and' in the event I had, it instantly started showing up as expected in homecalendar. So, there's your troubleshooting hint, and a bug report/reminder for Khertan, all in one short post. :) |
