hi all i have up reflashed my n800 and i cant download maemo mapper, is there a way that i can get it on diablo?

He may have been restoring a back up, and since Maemo Mapper doesn't seem to have made it into Diablo Extras yet. . . .

chears 4 that its installed now but how come that worked rather than the web site?

maemo mapper for 0s2008 hasn't been in extras for a bit- when i installed maemo mapper on chinook in may i had to do it from http://maemo.org/downloads/product/r...et_installfile

It would seem that Build-depends is missing libhildonhelp-dev

Is anyone with build permissions willing to add that and request a rebuild?

sorry to reanimate an old thread, but is there an update? how do I go about installing maemo-mapper on diablo?

You can install Maemo Mapper via the old chinook extras repository.
deb http://repository.maemo.org/extras/ chinook free
Maemo Mapper unfortunatly still isn't available in the diablo extras repository.

I'd recommend to disable the chinook extras repository again after installing Maemo Mapper to avoid that some update from chinook extras which maybe isn't compatible with diablo is breaking you diablo installation.
