Can anyone help me update these mystery apps?

I've recently updated my n800 to Diablo. Now I'm having a difficult time with some of my apps. The app manager tells me these updates are available, but when I attempt to do so, it tells me I don't have the necessary dependencies.

Does anyone recognize these? Anyone know where I can get them?

I had the same issue. This where my complaint about dependency hell and apt was based. I honestly don't remember how I fixed it. Sorry I couldn't help. I know someone in here knows. I want to say power off and power on the device, then retry, but I may be wrong.

Actually, I noticed these update issues after turning on Red Pill Mode because I was trying to work out some issues I'm have getting PyGame to work correctly.

I used PyGame no problem with some short Python script I was using in a project (see this post for more info about that).

Since I've updated to Diablo, I'm getting the following errors.

This is a different Python script, so I can't say with complete certainty that it would have worked with my pre-Diablo OS. But it's a fairly simple script, taken from Will McGugan's Beginning Game Development with Python and Pygame:

Really, I wasn't going to bring up the pyGame issue in this thread, since I was thought I might first work out these mystery updates and that might make my pyGame play nice.

But that, General, is why I turned on Red Pill mode.

So my questions are: Do I need to be concerned about these updates? If so, how do I fix them? And, why can't run my pyGame script?

No, you don't see these unless you're in Red Pill (which you really shouldn't be, if there are issues that need to be pounded out, you should use apt and dpkg), so turn Red Pill off and move on (if you really must have Red Pill on, then at least turn off the Magic system package and "Show all packages" in Settings. . . .).

Ok. I'll turn off Red Pill mode and assume those mystery apps don't have anything to do with my PyProblem. I'll post another thread specific to that.

Um hypothetically speaking, what exactly would be bad about updating while in red pill mode? Yes...hypothetically speaking...that's my story and I am sticking to it;)

Reboot loop bad. Don't do it, don't listen to people that tell you to do it. You don't need Red Pill, it's not a fix for anything. Turn it off, forget about it.

Well I should have phrased my question in the past tense, lol. Well fortunately not everything updated and no reboot loop. So is there anything I should still be worried about...hypothetically speaking;)?

This looks like your problem has nothing to do with package updating.
PyGame won't let you use a display mode with 32 bpp because the tablet only supports 16 bpp (65536 colors). It's a hardware limitation. :(
