I was thinking more in the line of this:

some small penguin running - 'cause maemo is always on the move, and it's smaller than big'ol linux desktops :D

Infact, I'm using this image at 50% size (88x66) as a replacement for my earth/browser icon in top left corner. Sadly, I have no computer and cannot make white background transparent .... anyone willing to fix up a copy in PNG? :)

I don't think that would go down well with the marketing people, it might lead some to accuse maemo of being a satanic cult. :D

Pick something from happyfeet, like the oracle penguin, or the small little ones that talked with a spanish accent...
