installing kmplayer for worldtv99
 

can someone help me? im trying to dl kmplayer to get worlldplayer99 but it says it cant dl because it will harm my system. any way to bypass that?

I could tell you to search for yourself using "red pill mode n800" but I won't. So go into your application manager, bring down the menu go to tools, click on Application catalog. It should bring up a window called Catalogs. Press the new button. It should bring up the New catalog window. In the field that says Web address delete everything and type in "matrix" without the quotes then press Cancel. A pop-up with two buttons should come up Red and Blue pick red. Now you are in red pill mode. Remember after you install kmplayer to go back to blue pill mode.

Can you provide more info please, N800 or N810, Os (Control>About product)? Both WorldTV99 and kmplayer are standard vanilla apps, does NOT require any tweaks or red pill. Some other apps in your system may be in conflict.

If it says something like "This software is not from Nokia and may harm your system" then don't worry about it, just click "Okay" and keep going.

The application manager does that to every app that's not digitally signed

I'm quite sure this is the case. I never saw such messages in Linux systems (Harm your system) but all the time in Windoos :).

i can't keep going. it just closes. and if i open to install it again it will say the same thing and close again. when you buy n810 from different stores do they come with differnt softwares like a PC/laptop would? Cause i got my laptop from a different source.

Do you have any way to become root?? Go to a terminal:

see what it says.. that will tell you exact dependencies to be downloaded, what packages may have to be removed, etc..or it should show you a little better of an error message

All this means is Nokia didn't make the software and if you break your tablet its not there fault. It says that with any software that isn't programmed by Nokia. About the differant software the only N800 I know that comes with something else on it is like 2 grand and is a remote for a really exspensive sound system.

The software is fine to use, but then again if your system craps the bed its not my fault.

When you get this message, you click on ok, after that, you have to wait few seconds for instalation. Sometimes it takes 20 or 25 seconds to show me the package to install. Perhaps, you didn't wait enough time.

Have you tried to install another application and you get with the same issue?
