[Canola] Canola not showing Cover Arts

Hi,

I´m using Canola2 (2.0.0~beta9-maemo2) on Diablo, and installed the tuning plugin(0.1.0-maemo2). Before I used the external application for loading cover arts and had no problems, but as I haven't fund it in the repos, I just installed the plugin.

The plugin seems to work ok, and a progress indicator shows the percentage of the work done till it reaches 100%. But when it finishes, I go to AUDIO -> MyMusic -> Cover Arts and the screen doesnt show the cover art of any record. They all show the default icon. When I click on any record, it goes to the next screen and there it shows the cover art (if it found it with the plugin), and when I play the record it shows also on play mode.

So, my problem is that in the cover art screen it's not showing the cover art that obviously it's there.

I'm only using the tunning plugin. No other plugins. And have installed the themes, and using flatRed.

I have searched the forums but didnt find anything on this. If anybody has a workarround or show me a post where this is solved I would be very happy.

thanks everybody and thanks the canloa team for this awesome player.

Re: Canola not showing Cover Arts

if i understand you correctly, you go to the coverarts section, and when you click on an alubm, and then it zooms in, you click the defualt image again and the thing slide to the right, and on the left, displays the cover art?

if that is true, you just need to select the image you want to use by clicking on the smaller image on the left.
it will make the larger image the same, and then just tap on the larger image again to get itto slide back to the left

I scan my files. In the play mode I see the cover art. But in the first screen of the cover ARts I dont see any cover. I see the default icon (the musical note). When I click on an albun then I see the cover art. When I play I also see the cover art. So I only dont see the cover art in cover art view. Here's a video:

I have no updates for the plugin, so I asume is the last one. I have written the versions in my previous post. Are you recomending uninstalling and installing it again? Shoud I make any other step?

Just for you to know, this is a fresh install of Diablo, I only backuped the favorites. After installing I activated extras from the repositories, but havent add any other repository, so this should be a default installation.

Thanks
Tiago

Folks, I don't think iNdt has come out with a version of Canola specifically for Diablo yet. (they may have added it to the repo, but I don't thinked they've fixed everything).

Where can I get the old external application to add covers? That used to work fine. The plugin never worked for me.

I don't think the plugin is the problem. I used it under diablo before the python update screwed things up with no problem. It seems to just be some differences in python libraries. Wait for a proper diablo version. beta9-maemo2 is, from what I understand, a quick fix to get us all to stop complaining...

Re: Canola not showing Cover Arts

shouldnt be an issue, im running diablo and I have the album art in cover view

Ill reflash a spare and try it out
perhaps a minor update messed things up?
