Well. If it's meant to be used with tablets than it's epic fail :(
1) Mouse over.
2) Too much dead space (Like green and white borders)

The idea is great, I can help to work it on :)

I'm looking for a few people to help we with the look and the features of tabletos.org, anyone who knows php, html, or javascript please let me know if you want to help. Also if you have any ideas on the setup or new features let me know also. I want to grow this so it become a much better Web App. It would also be cool if we could make a program that runs on the n810 to pull the information from my database on the web but runs on the tablet. So if there are any Programmers out there that are interested in working on this with me please message me.

All the data is stored in a Mysql database and I think it would be simple to pull the links, contacts and other information out of the database and onto the tablet so it will load faster there, and be formatted better for the tablets.

Actually this is interesting if you can import and export data (using e.g. iCal format).

But, I wonder, is there a program for *NIX which can be installed and used remotely using HTTP protocol? So basically, a program which provides a website like you made, but then running on my own server?

Because IMO this data is my property and not Google's or Microsoft's or anyone else. I'd trust my ISP if they provided this functionality, but besides that...

If you had a web server with php/mysql I could send you the files when I'm done if you wanted to run a single user version on your own web server. But my version is secure. I'm also going to be working on a Application that runs on the Tablets so you don't have to go thru the web browser to access information on tablets.

At this time it doesn't allow you to import iCal data but it does import/export Links. It also allows for Quick Add of Links by a shortcut found under the help section. iCal import would be something I would love to add but I haven’t messed with that kind of thing before.

I have created a Garage Project and would like anyone interested in helping request to be a developer there. I have someone helping with some design work now but I need anyone who knows php, python, or just willing to help with layout to help out.

I also made a new Mobile Version of the site last night. http://mobile.tabletos.org it is geared to accessing the information on your Cell Phone. Its very striped down used only to view your information like, Notes, Reminders, Links, and Tasks. I will add more features to the Mobile version if I get some request to.

Awesome :) then, one also evades dependence (e.g. your site goes down), and can implement other aspects independently (e.g. HTTPS). Maybe you could release the sourcode of the website? If you're interested, that is. If it is possible to import and export data (OpenSync and/or iCal) this potentially fills the need for PIM on NIT.

Re: Remake of my site Tabletos.org

Like I said it can't import iCal yet but if someone is interested in working on that I can give the source to them. I'm still working on some bugs, but I will consider releasing the source once I'm done. I want to find someone to someone to write me a App for the Tablet before I release the code. I'm considering paying someone for the job. I havn't decided yet if I will do that or try and learn to do it my self yet. Only reason I havn't goon https is the extra cost of the certificate and cost of a dedicated IP for the tabletos.org domain.

Re: Remake of my site Tabletos.org

Be leave it or not I decided that well the layout and look of TabletOS.org was well ugly so I was looking at the layout of several PIM programs and decided that instead of designing tabletOS.org to look like a website to make it look more like a program so that’s how I came up with the new layout. If you maximize the browser it doesn't even feel like your using a web browser at all. I should say I haven’t tested the layout on my tablet yet since I'm still at work just thought I would go ahead and post about it.

Here is a Screenshot of it running on my work computer full screen. I'm logged into the Demo Account background and coloring on right side of screen is customizable after you register as well as layout of your start pages.

This is a great idea; I'll add it to my bookmarks and check it often.

Thanks I've been working on it a while and it has gone through a few redesigns but I think I will be sticking with this design I don't see getting it much better then it is now. Besides trying to figure out how to import iCal format does anyone have and suggestions for it? Also if anyone is famillar with iCal format please let me know.
