Re: Games that work well with DosBox: Index
wow, that was a fast replay, thank you.
I went into red pill and tried to install the two libraries but both give me the error I need libs 1.8 before I can install them. I;m probably missing something obvious here. my main goal was to just manually edit the .conf files myself but I cant find them, where would I look in the file structure for the dosbox directory (im a pc guy and im trying to find somewhere to start with maemo :p) EDIT*** Well I read through the entire thread and found the answer in the if your mouse stops working thread: /usr/share/dosbox/dosbox.conf So now the only thing I am missing is the command syntax to run the game from the xterm with a costom config file... you wouldnt happen to know that would you ? |
Re: Games that work well with DosBox: Index
Something like:
dosboxbin -conf /usr/share/dosbox/dosbox.conf -conf /path/to/your/game.conf "/path/to/game/executable" |

but instead of adding Maemo diablo/sdk to the Application manager, use Maemo Chinook instead. ( as discussed here: http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...&postcount=303 ) |

updated.
it's a pity the post doesn't change it's date when you update. So this is just a "bump" |

Valeria,
great effort, many thanks, but maybe the content of the index should be migrated to wiki, so that other people can easily add to it? |
