i got it working.
the problem was that you have to have a memory card installed for it to save the drawings. you click save... do more drawing save again........ but it only saves if the memory card is inserted. someone needs to do a pop up window that explains this to the user |

i eventually got it working, for you informattion you have to have a memory card inserted
