Hmm, looks like the Overstock deal is for a LIKE-new N810 whatever that means. The Tiger Direct one seems to be new.

Mind you, Tiger Direct's "You Save" line is bogus too, since they give you how much you save vs. the most expensive listed competitor, which is just plain silly, but I have had good buying experiences from them in the past.

Hi,

Yes, the "like New" tag got my dander up A little bit.

Good price but is it new or refurbished?

Virtually no details to go with either.

If someone takes advantage of this deal, maybe they will post the results of the experience.

Stick to eBay.

That's what everyone keeps telling me on here anyway. Who the hell is Tiger Direct anyway? Oh yes where I got my N800 from....Doh!! lol

In case anyone's thinking about going with them, overstockdealz doesn't seem to have the best reputation: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=35010 Also, their shipping's $12 or so.

I'm still looking for a deal cheap enough to decide me myself... I'm trying to resist, but I really want to upgrade from my Zaurus SL-5500.

I would suggest you stay away from eBay.

I read the link referred to above, and it didn't seem totally bad for overstockdealz. Some people actually got a good deal. I wouldn't trust them for a tablet, though, unless I had a guaranteed way to get my money back.

TigerDirect bought Compusa mailorder, so these should be new in the box w/ full warranty units.

NOTE:"The limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser ("Consumer") of the Product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end-user"

Overstockdealszhas limited open box/refurbs probably w/o full warranty, like the USED units one finds on ebay.

When I called Overstockdealz about one several months ago the ones they had then carried a 90 day warranty, but they sold out as I was talking to the CSR.

note on ebay a slightly used N810 w/ all accesories just went for $265+$20 ship.

Also with Tiger and COMPUSA you can buy a 3rd party additional warranty, 1yr after mfg.$50, 2yr after mfg.$90, and if your the type that might drop it a 2yr accidental damage for $110.
