Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!
Just tried the FXGame java applet. Tried to sign up for an account at their website; got lots of errors from their server!
It isn't a connection error. Java reports: Quote:

so it fail when standart login >Connection was terminated during a read< and it fail when proxy login >Unexpected end of file from server< both fails are on the side that something interrupt connection to ports. At the same time on PC everything run no fails. I send request to app. provider, but... You wrote that you've no idea about java staf there, may be you know who did java for your ED-TCE? And another question: could have an influence on connections and etc. that fact that we use image version of ED-TCE instead of straight partition install? From my point of view are only few steps to get java polished for those who want java on NIT. |

webo_09: You seem to have a corrupted download. Please delete the file debian-final.tar.bz2 from your SD card and try again. You can use the File Manager to delete the file.

Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!
I was not able to install the minimal system or at least I could not get it to run - probably I was not understanding how to run things. I reformatted the internal memory and installed the full easy debian. When I start the debian chroot, everything works OK. I freed up some space and was able to just barely install r-base. I would like to free up more space. Can I uninstall openoffice or iceweasal? Will this cause any problems?

Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!
you can uninstall openoffice, done it and everything else is fine :
#apt-get remove openoffice* did the trick ! installed "phpmyadmin" package and "localepurge" and "bluefish" and "hydrogen" too ;-) Audacity installed in chroot, but no sound :-( not as hydrogen, fully functionnal !! :-) |
