ok great, I was trying to get an idea how other people that have been using the tablet store their stuff.

What about the error message that I get when I run the slide show? Also, anyway I could change the timing to change slides.

How do I get an App to run. As I said I went to App. Mgr selected the application but don't give me any choice to run but, to uninstall, details or cancel

Actually I am not too concern with the consumption of electricity even though I am trying to minimize my footprint, but I was more interested to know if it would damage the N800 by leaving it plugged to the AC adaptor to the electric outlet because of the message I get once it gets a full charge "unplug the AC cord or it will drain the battery"

My Nokia N800 doesn't say, "unplug the AC cord or it will drain the battery",

mine says, "Disconnect charger from electrical socket to save energy".

Some of us believe this to mean reduce wasted electricity to save planet Earth from global warming. I made some measurements to reveal that the Nokia charger draws so little electricity at idle that unplugging it from the wall is irrelevant.

Here is an observation:

When my N800 battery is fully charged and I grab the AC-4U adapter and extract it from the electrical socket, my N800's wakes up, lights the screen and barks....yup, you guessed it...."Disconnect charger from electrical socket to save energy". Particularly annoying because I already did just that.

The amount of energy used by the N800 to wake up, light the LCD screen and display that message consumes significantly more electrical energy than if it had stayed asleep, keeping the screen dark. The energy to display that illuminated message dozens (maybe hundreds) of times each year exceeds what the charger draws at idle plugged in continuously for an entire year.

Yes, I tried that and it worked, but I'm still looking for some suggestion how to change the timing on the slide show, and the error message that I get between images
error can't display image, then there is a puse and the image appears. It's rather annoying. Any suggestion>?

I use Quiver more than the Nokia image viewer, you could try it.

It could be that your images are too large/card is too slow, and you could avoid the error message by altering one of those, but I think Quiver may take care of it too.
