A. IE , FF , safari and chrome full keyboard shortcuts are the must , faster scrolling needed , now' space ' key is good to use . B. Able to lunch programs easier , with " excutor " , it is much easier in windows , but difficult to switch between the programs If there's a quickest way to exchange some links or tiny words between computers and N810 via bluetooth in bluemaemo , that will be really really great !!! Wish it helps . |

Re: Introducing BlueMaemo
Right now, BlueMaemo has the ability to change hotkeys in the settings. However, you can only change it to letters. It would be a LOT better if you could make combo keys etc. (look at controlMK for an example).
For example, in Winamp, the "play" global hotkey is something like "Ctrl + Alt + Insert". |

- the soft keyboard has a qwerty(-like) layout, but keypresses translate to some sort of azerty equivalent (ie "a" is "q" etc.) - the HW keyboard is azerty, obviously, but the remote host receives a qwerty-like key code (a for q etc.). Fishing around for the right letters (a, z, q, w, m) is easy enough, but finding and memorizing punctuation, special characters and numbers is almost impossible... I suspect some are even missing :-) |

Re: Introducing BlueMaemo
Well done. Works perfectly with Windows XP SP2 and the Toshiba Bluetooth stack. This is a wonderful application. Thanks!

Re: Introducing BlueMaemo
How do you set the keyboard shortcut to escape and other keys not present on the virtual keyboard? Accidentally pressed a button and now I can't set it back to escape.

Re: Introducing BlueMaemo
I would also like to know how to bind non-standard keys. I have a PS3 and as you may have notice from a previous post, a couple keys are escape and right-click, neither of which are options.
It would be cool if the "controller" mode could have "sub-modes" such as "PS3", "computer controller", "wii", etc. My last question is whether or not this program would work on a standard linux machine, I would like to use my linux laptop as a keyboard/mouse for my PS3, but the only way to do that is via VNP on the N810. If anyone knows of another program that works in linux, that would be great also. |
