Re: N810 w/Broken screen for sale 120$
Just one more suggestion to test... If the touchscreen layer is gone, then all you see is the hard plastic/glass screen itself. When you press it with a stylus you'll see no bowing of the screen surface. If the soft plastic touchscreen layer is still in place you can see that (bowing) easily with dimmed screen when holding against a light at proper angle. (In my tablet the plastic layer bows more close to the edges of the screen. In the middle there is not much bowing.)

So is this still for sale or what?

Can you also post photos of the removed layer?

Re: N810 w/Broken screen for sale 120$
I'll post pics when I get home later on tonight, and yes the N810 still works perfectly fine but the touchscreen layer isnt there, im guessing since the screen is ok, all you need is to buy that layer.
thanks |
Re: N810 w/Broken screen for sale 120$
Yeah the first layer was actually the trans reflective layer, which was really thick I might add and had multiple sheets. Then was the touch screen layer which had a ribbon wire at the top right and had a Grey lining around it. I forgot it, I left it at my dad's house but i'll post pics about two weeks from now to show the y'all who are curious.

I prefer the harder one that does not deform. Why did Nokia change the design of the touchscreen? I refrain from hijaacking this thread but I have one more question about screens.....can anyone please tell me the method of backilight? Is it cold cathode florescent, or white led? Thank you. |
