Hello. I've got a problem with pokemons. In the patchnotes for the last version of VGBA it is said that problems with graphics in pokemons were solved. And that's true.
But now when I try to battle with wild pokemons in tall grass, the battle never starts. It's just black screen. I can only suppose that these are some problems with emulator's videoeffects systems or something like that. I'm not competent in such questions. Does anybody except me have such problems? Maybe there is some solution for this?
I play now on VGBA version 3.5.1 with wierd bad graphics and x2 scaling. My eyes will explode soon. HELPHELPHELP!

Woah woah, oneoneone, calm down there.

Which pokemon?

Why are you using 3.5.1? The newest VGBA is 3.6...

Yeah, ok)
Pokemon Emerald version. I tryed another versions too, but they all crash on battles with wild pokemons.
Ahhh. Maybe I was not clear in my first post. Pokemons crash in version 3.6.4, so to play them I found version 3.5.1. That's what I meant.
There must be some visual effects when you start a battle, I believe that they are crashing the game. But maybe my crashes are not because of VGBA, but because of my N810 or some other conditions. So if anyone can - please test pokemons on version 3.6.4(not just start the game, but start the battle with wild pokemon).

I have the same problem!!! The game crashes when you find a wild pokemon in the grass... Is there any tweak that could solve this problem???

I sure hope the Pokemon problem gets fixed, I really want to play it annoyance free.

As for now, I have found a crude fix that will get you into pokemon wild battles. When the screen freezes when you enter a wild battle, exit fullscreen mode, hit freeze state in the menu, hit reset in the menu, then hit restore state. Presto, you'll be placed into the wild battle. ... Just that its really annoying to do this every time you walk in the grass/other infested areas :P.

Oh and also, WarioWare Inc. Mini Games works perfectly.

Here's my list of working games:

Advance Wars (first one)
AstroBoy Omega Factor
Defender
Final Fantasy IV
Mario Advanced 4 (No music and pirate ship/underwater levels run slow. Otherwise, great fun)
Mario Kart
Metal Slug Advance
Metroid Fusion
Ninja-Five-O
Zelda A Link to the Past (in game saves don't seem to work, but save-states work fine)

Mario Kart works for you? I have a Japanese ROM, and there are some problem with the sprites.
