Wrap around menus
Thanks to lardman for bringing https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=987 to my attention (well, I say "my" but more of a general thing on #maemo :)) and fanoush for posting in the bug what needs to be changed.

Code:
sed -i 's/gtk-keynav-wrap-around = 0/gtk-keynav-wrap-around = 1/' /usr/share/themes/*/gtk-2.0/gtkrc |

but more like, set it in one place and thats it... |
Re: Wrap around menus
Why oh why isn't this the default. There are so many poorly chosen defaults like this in Maemo that I wonder if Nokia will ever get it right.

Re: Wrap around menus
Successfully hacked gtk to always have wrap around regardless of the theme:
Patch to source: http://pastebin.com/f23f2c1e6 Deb: http://qwerty12.maemobox.org/libgtk2...so36_armel.deb After installing that deb, wrap around will always be enabled. That deb is for diablo only. And this is a hack of an very important component so be careful. Tested on my N800 with diablo fine (rebooted twice just to check) If you don't want to install that deb, just using the sed line in the first post will be fine for the themes you wish to enable this on. |
