Removing/finding lock code
Hi,
Let's make this short. My N810 got its internal memory corrupted. I make a backup using the Backup/restore feature. Then I flash to the latest version, restore the backup, then all is good. But now, I want to re-enable the lock code, but I forgot the lock code from when I first set it. I've tried my possible kind of combinations, and I have tried 12345, Nokia default, to no avail. I figured I could look in my backup, to see if the code was. I got the settings.zip, I unzipped it and navigated to /Root/etc/osso-aft-init/gconf-dir/system/osso/dir/locks And there was the %gconf.xml, which I hoped would have the lockcode in it, likewise with my WEP key stored in the backup in a different .xml file. :) But this is what it displays Code:

Re: Removing/finding lock code
Well I'm a novice at this and can't figure it, can anyone help please ?. Basically after my N800 decided to whitescreen on me, I reflashed it, only for it to repeat. So I left it for about a month nd reflashed it again, only to restore settings from SD, but now asking for lock code upon reboot!! Why not ask whilst flashing ?!.
