ahah, yes, the thanks button is missing in the classic skin. it does appear in the hideous minimalist skin. sigh.

nope, if I do click on the thanks button, it says it's disabled for me, that perhaps my account hasn't been validated.

Thanks does not exist in the Off-topic forum; perhaps that what you saw?

It definitely does exist in classic here. And minimalist isn't hideous! :p

Its wierd, I can see a thanks button on Bensons name, but not on speculatrix

ah, I did change my email a month ago, and come to think of it, the thanks button's been missing for a while.

so, its appearance in some skins is a bug, not its absence in the others!

hmm, is there a "revalidate my account" feature anywhere?

ok, I tried the change email again, to see if it'll send a validation email request.

--edit-- yes, it said it would. lets see if that fixes it!

I've PM'd reggie twice now, no response, and still no validation emails after changing twice, left my email address to the one I want now.

:-(
