Notice a lot of sellers are selling the N810 around 230-240. I ordered from one of these places, being delighted it was in stock, and then immediately after ordering was told it was on backorder. I'm just going to let my order hang there until I find a better deal or hear otherwise. But what's up with that - all of these vendors are out of stock?

Does anyone know a cheap-ish alternative, 240 and below?

I was just noticing that prices are dropping here in Canada. The last time they did that (for the N800), Nokia announced the N810 two weeks later. I'm getting excited!

Awesome, the vendor I bought from just shipped! Will report when (if?) I get it. It was PCConnection btw, but some more on that google price watcher with similar prices are now in stock.

Good thing I got mine for about the same price (maybe 5 dollars more). Buy.com was showing like 350 up until tonight!

It's Friday morning, and Buy.com is again showing the n810 for $220 incl shipping. I'd snatch one, but I already have an n800 and an (Apple) bluetooth keyboard.

This price from Buy.com is SO very tempting. But I too already have a N800 with a bluetooth keyboard. Is there any overpowering benefit to the N810?

No.
Touch screen is more sensitive and is readable in direct sunlight (unlike the N800).
