For more information. Freemantle is the next version of the OS. But due to hardware architecture differences (Freemantle is being developed for the next generation of Nokia tablet(s?), it won't be backported to the tablet. Instead Nokia is working with Ubuntu to backport fixes into Mer. We might get one last SSU update through Diablo but that's probably about it.
