Re: Council Uniforms - design competition

Many many years ago it was suggested in Paris that the taxi drivers, as in so many other places, should wear uniforms.

The taxi drivers said NO, NO WAY.
It did not help.
The taxi drivers threatened to follow ALL traffic regulations.
>>The uniforms where conveniently forgotten.

( Paris traffic is NOT disciplined, total discipline would have brought everything to a stand still.)

Now I wonder, like the Cheshire cat might, what this might mean . . .

I carry my tablet in a leather belt-pouch, which is only a small part of my ever-growing bat-belt, which also includes a spare battery pack, and a holster containing my camera, phone, pen, keys, and LED pocket flashlight. If you're into that sort of stuff, look up the company called UrbanTool. I don't carry my multitool on my belt, however, because while it's really handy, looking like you're carrying a knife around generally isn't a good way to go :P

I do think they should get uniforms, but not spandex...

Even spandex (and maybe even bacon) might fit looser than the skinny-fit T-shirts we got at the last Summit. :p
