updated just now, and when i tap yes to saving changes, nothing happens. that is, the dialog window will not go away unless i tap "no".

ah, never mind. a reboot of the tablet seems to have fixed the issue.

and on that wifi on/off thing with softpoweroff, have a look at the battery policy under softpoweroff. setting it to softoffline or retain may be interesting ;)

Softpoweroff turns off all wireless radios unless there is currently open connection.
Retain doesn't radio change status: off stays off, on stays on.

Last version I checked didn't have the right choices for resuming from soft power off.

I've experimented with creating some type of "Wait..." dialog, but I couldn't get it to show up correctly in the short time between closing the first dialog, and running the script. I'll have to test some other methods of doing this.

I don't think this will work on the N900, look like the LED pattern is a little different.

Given the mce.ini structure it will not. Should anyone decide to expand it to N900 is another question.

So, please port to N900?
