Contest: Predict the announcement and release dates
 

I just thought it would be fun to have a contest to see who can come closest at guessing the announcement day and release dates of the RX-51 (or whichever tablet is released next).

Rules:
You only get one prediction.
You can't change your prediction.
You have to be the closest to the right date without being after the date.
The person who comes closest without going past on both days wins.
The number of days between the predicted dates and the real dates will be calculated and added up to determine the winner.
This is for fun. Don't take it too seriously.
Nokia employees and affiliates are disqualified (I wouldn't expect them to post anyway).
Eat your vegetables like your mom always told you to.
I told you not to take this too seriously.
Why are you still reading this?
The end of time doesn't count as a prediction.

Can you add a public poll (vote for a month or so)?

I'd like to say we'll see it in July, but I actually think it's going to be a September 2nd presentation and release immediately afterwards.

I thought about it, but since there are two variables instead of just one the possible combinations are too high even if I'm just using months. Plus, the true contest is to see who can predict the closes actual date.

Announcement: 12th of august
Release: November 16.

Release: 8 September (i.e. shipping to a real paying customer)

It is going to be announced on June 2th, and will be released Oct 10th. And in 2012, March 31st, the Universe is going to implode, anyway.
