Nice that they are properly apprising new customers of when to expect the unit to ship. All in all, a pretty messed up launch.

I feel like calling them and being an *******, I prob wont do this but I feel like it!

Spoke with them earlier - still scheduled to ship on December 1st or thereabouts.

I just bought one...my first hand held device ever...

Now, I can't wait...

I want it for email, web, IM and even try to do some GPS.

I noticed the "Sorry, you're S.O.L." notice on the US site said Dec 2005 this morning; it's back to January 2006.

As a member of the Where's My Damned 770 Club, I made the ritual, always futile, Nokia call this afternoon.

Same story: It will be shipped "some time" in Dec.

Does anyone with better contacts than the useless call center have anything new to add?
