I just called this morning...
 

I called and spoke to Julia this morning. She said the 770 would be available 'later this week'.

Well, this probably doesn't mean much, but my online order status page changed slightly this afternoon. The status itself is unchanged at "Order is open" and has been that way since I first saw it last Wednesday. However, the section where they list the ordered product had a quantity and a price, but no item description (it was blank). It now says "Nokia 770 Internet Tablet (770-IT)". Hopefully, we're making progress.

I just spoke to Yolanda at the NokiaUSA number and placed an order for the 770. $359.99 with free 3 day FEDEX shipping. Instructions were to call back on 11/17 to verify inventory. It sounds like progress is being made....

Hm, when you go to buy at NokiaUSA, during the cart process it says the Nokia 770 is not in stock but will be available on Nov 17 2005.

the price is now 359.99. wonder whether they'll try to get the extra 9.99 from those of us who ordered it when they were saying it was 350.00? even the pundits were writing that the cost was to be 350.00.

What i believe is the price will drop to 300 probaly in dec or jan and thats when i will buy it because i wanna verify if it is a good product,well i know it is,but im talking about bugs,viruses(when on the internet),and other things.

read the postings about the $50 discount. after you put in the suggested coupon code for $50 savings click to continue. nokia says the coupon code is no good, then click 'back' and the popup window with the discount will appear.

They have removed the "buy now" link on the Nokia-USA website and gone back to the Coming Soon email signup ... either they have sold-out their inventory or we arent getting our 770s today.
