Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
Bundyo, was your reply to me? Youre saying I cant make tear completely ignore the theme?
|
Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
If it ignore the theme what will it choose? :)
Yes, WebKit uses the current theme to render its widgets, as every Gtk browser engine :) However there is probably a way to change the whole program theme (mYTube does that) and I will go there sooner or later. |
Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
I didnt know exactly how all that works, normally I use the nuvoclear theme. just as long as text entry fields and checkboxes are white Im good. lol I would love to have that theme option like on mytube...theres just a few programs that dont look good with the lcars themes...pidgin and tear are the only ones im having an issue with.

I may have found the reason for my bluetooth enter key issue. It seems that tear see it as the same key as the center of the N800 dpad...
that is, i can make the toolbar appear if i hold it down for a while... However, if i change the setting to "Enter" (default is "D-Enter"), teh problem goes away... |
Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
And you don't have a toolbar show key now ;)

Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
Is it possible to change button "+" as PageDown and "-" as PageUp?

No, can you file a bug?

Still, one thing i notice is that if one hit the enter key repeatedly, fast enough, the toolbar shows up, just as if one have held it down... |
Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
Hmm, can someone with N810 test something for me?
Navigate to this page and type with the hardware keyboard in the textarea and tell me if normal events are popping up? I have a bug filed for no keyboard events with the hardware keyboard (tested in ajaxterm) and my guess is that the said software (written in 2006) is badly handling the key events. If someone is interested in the little hell called keyboard events: http://unixpapa.com/js/key.html |
Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
With my 810 (chinook os) and tear, it shows keypress events indeed. Tell me if you need screenshots or output.
BTW I couldn't copy the link address in microb and paste in tear's urlbar: it didn't paste. |
