Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
I've read most of the nearly 400 posts on this thread and hopefully didn't miss this suggestion.
I'd like to see a key combo or gesture to quickly zoom to full page width and/or full page view and then back to current zoom. Maybe return to current zoom after tapping a portion of the screen and instantaneously being in the section tapped. Thanks Bundyo for the bringing us Tear too. ;) |

I dont understand the problem with kinetic. The main reason that I use tear instead of midory is kinetic.
@Bundyo, you fixed the copy/cut in the url form, but pasting still doesn´t work:(. |
Re: Tear 0.3.1 - a would be beta WebKit based browser
First of all thank you for this great app -it made me to buy N810 :)
I have a couple of suggetions / feature requests: For finger only touch screen usage it would be nice to get rid off scrollbars to give more space for content. Preferably show minimal scroll indicator while scrolling which then dissapears when scrolling stops. This kind of implementation can be seen e.g. in 'Mauku' app. Better yet if user could toggle between this and normal scrollbars from options. My second suggestion is zoom to user defined zoom level with double tap on touch screen and again with double tap back to previosly used zoom level. User scenario: This would be really usefull when using tablet with fingers only. Usually when I'm reading some forum I use hw keys to adjust for comfortable reading and then I need couple zoom cliks to hunt that next page number link. Instead I could set zoom to, say 120% and then double tap to 200% for link and then double tap back to 120% for reading again. This could also be used for scenario Munk suggested above if user could set the zoom level which is used when double tapped. My last suggestion is more simple: page scrolling with space key as in microB (or any user defined key). |

I feel the urge to state that Google Docs mostly works, and very fast too! The only thing which didn't work in my hands are the "save" and "save & close" buttons (but you can save from the menu), and the freehand drawing.
This is remarkable; microb in comparison is unbearably slow. |
