Well another new member waiting for his N900 here in Hampshire, UK,

I needed a new phone, been a linux developer for 10 years, unix for 15 years before that, and worked with the ARM processor for about three, so it sounded like the phone for me. Of course I don't actually know how to make phone calls :)

Hello Everyone!

I have been reading through the threads here for a while, and have finally gotten around to registering. This community appears to be very supportive, informative and entertaining. I have my N900 on order and I know this place is going to be quite beneficial. I look forward to getting to know you all and supporting the community. :)

hi all! i just joined yesterday from Australia after a few weeks of reading the threads in my anticipation on the N900. the community has been really informative on my hunt for information to import the N900 and i'm looking forward to contributing :)

Hey everyone,

I'm a embedded platform developer from Lithuania and am super-awesomely interested in coding high-end apps and games for the N900.
I've been lurking around for a while, and I'm still awaiting my N900. Meanwhile I've been playing with the SDK and am just loving to develop apps on the Maemo 5 platform. Hope I can get some inspiration from these forums :)

Wow, the rate of new members registering on these forums has grown rapidly after the first N900's have been shipped out.

Indeed, welcome all. I'd suggest not worrying about threads that talk about shipping or problems for a long while and looking at the positive aspects of the community, including its accessibility, inclusiveness and expertise.
