I would suggest a great crested newt

they are native to finland and sport orange and black markings. They can look right wicked as well

How about we attempt to do this a bit more scientifically. Instead of calling out names and showing pretty pictures, why don't we go through the different kind of animals available, and do small votes.

Here's my suggestion:

Kingdom:

• Plantae
  • Specific flower, or,
  • Tree
• Animalia
  • Fish
  • Amphibians
  • Reptiles
  • Birds
  • Mammals

Once we've decided on which kingdom the community is favouring for, then offering options might become useful, but at this point there's 30 pages of topic, and nothing coming out of it.
