For (1) which notification settings are you using?

(2) is most probably a side effect of the way the code was written for Maemo 5 but I could probably detect that and avoid it. File me a bug?

My setting are to check every 5 mins for a voice or sms message.

More so I was referring to the notification type setting (application, none, and some special one for n8x0 that I can't remember what I call it)

Hey guys, i never used dialcentral before, i used to use gizmo5 but that doesn't work anymore. Question is, how do you log in to dialcentral, username/password should be what? I have google talk but i'm really confused on which credentials i should be using?? Thanks

^ You just use your login and password like you would when signing into Google Talk.

Without Gizmo though, you can't send and receive calls anymore but you can at least still text for free. :)

is that included @gmail.com or just the user id and password?

Leave out the @gmail.com when logging in.

Check for any updates to DC.

Current version is 1.2.33.

Make sure it's all lower case letters when logging in.

Are you sure you have a Google Voice account and a phone number that it gave you?

Thanks, it does work now without issues. I actually updated yesterday to the 1.3 version that was available. Wish we still had Gizmo though. My gf has the nokia n810 as well, is there a way possible to do video calls?
