Thankfully, a kind wind blew from Mountain View last Saturday night and the Google Contacts code was changed back. I believe most 3rd party apps,which used Contacts are now working. Happily, that includes Dial Central. Some data that was indexed to Contacts may have been lost, and some GTalk authorizations may need to be re-established, but at least it's working again.

Seems like it's producing quite a few alarm errors on my end.

Not receiving notifications is also happening on my other tablet as well. |

I turned off the notifications at least a week ago as to not drain the battery.

Okay, it's set for all messages, application alert, and at 1 minute intervals.
I'm not seeing any changes in my settings though.
