since 3 days now, maemofr.org is down!

someones have info about why?...and possibility to be online again soon? dates?

en tout cas c vraiment triste car je vous aimait bien ainsi que tout les autres users regulier de ce forum qui etait francais et qui etait notre seul ressources francaise concernant maemo

jespere qu'il reviendra....et si d'ici la fin de la semainne ce n est tjs pas revenu....on pourrais peut etre essayer de voir qui etait derriere le maemofr.org et essayer de voir les raisons et surtout si ya moyen de remettre en ligne cette perle....ou du moin quelques un d entre nous pourrais ce porter garant d une nouvelle reouverture....je crois meme que la possibilité que maemo talks nous dedie une section francaise aussi serai envisageable...

bref faudra faire suivre quoi qu'il arrive

but apparently maemofr.org is down about this cause....

Good find. But in the French version of that text on the same page they do add that they are expecting yet more downtime to correct yet another hardware problem :
"Nous prévoyons une maintenance d'ici peu puisque nous soupçonnons un nouveau problème matériel (nous sommes maudits)."

Or maybe some sites didn't come back up automatically after the restore, and the maemo-fr admin is not around at the moment...

I think it would be a wonderful idea to have talk.maemo.org forums in different languages. As long as you promise to bring the most interesting stuff back to the English-language forums :D

yes i see a lot interest about french communauty....that sounds very nice

in fact iam a pure french guy fr Quebec canada...

but i can wrote in french very well...i mean very very good whitout faults...

and if you wrote very very good in some language (whitout any faults) i can use any good automatic translator and all be very good in other language...

anyway....

someone knows perfectly who manage maemofr (who is Admin?)

1- Maemofr.org come back like in the past and no change anywhere
2-Maemofr.org comeback like in the past but whit change in admin crew
3-Maemofr.org never comeback like in the past so some new crew work together for open a new maemofr.org (or other grat name) and all be like in the past

4- Nothing uphere happen and maybe we can make a sub ''sticky'' section in maemo.talks for the french community (and we can wrote in french in this section)

that just an ideas about what i think its possible in long terms

but for now....its better just waiting for any news from somes admins of maemofr.org
