Paul, who is not only a top executive, but also a crack customer service agent, just assured me in a web chat that my drinks have been delayed until February 15, 2010. An email message from Anna B. informs me that this is just because I live in Elbonia; everyone else will be getting their drinks sooner. Tomorrow probably. I believe Paul and Anna B., I really do, but I'm still waiting for official confirmation, via skywriting, from Peter. I don't accept any truth until he personally verifies it in a message directed just to me. Funny thing though, I can never recall what he's said afterward. Anyway, ragnar kicked me in the shin, which in a total dealbreaker, so I'm beginning to wonder if I should be buying any drinks at all from some sketchy web site via Western Union. I'd ask the opinion of others via an existing thread, but they're all controlled by judges now, and I've no anti-law cards. Besides, my new thread featuring my chat transcript and email reply will lift the spirits of the downtrodden everywhere!
