Let me guess, 64 bit Windows? I've gotten few reports of this, seems like it can't transcode to xvid, other platforms work fine. If it's sd material, try using passthrough profile. If the video is too heavy for N900, use browser or theora profiles until the problem is fixed.

There is now a new windows installer available with bug fixes, ability to start/stop the server from the menu and it features a new easy media sharing feature (totally untested though).

Sorry about the database changes, but it's hard to add features without adding new tables and making scripts that add them to old database is too much work, but you can use sqlite manager Firefox plugin to add the missing shares table and the extra field to users if you don't want to scan your whole collection again.

Yes, there is a web service at nakkiboso.com that stores your location pretty much like a normal dynamic dns services. Server updates it every 4 hours and it's then used to locate the server no matter where you are. It's also used by the sharing feature, so that the url you give has your public ip address and not private.

That's odd, I didn't get that error. I changed the way it checks the row count, try git pulling again.

I'll definitely be testing out this new installer on my Windows XP later tonight!

I just hope that it doesn't give me herpes like your other programs have done. :)

Sounds to me you are using them wrong. I now understand your expression "gives tickly feeling".
