How do I put a command in the OS2008 startup?

Where do I put a command that I want it to start every startup of the OS2008?

Like msconfig tool in windows...

Thanks.

Well, Windows has 6 different places where to put this...
When exactly do you want to start that command?

You might try reading the "Automatically launch brower on startup - Help - n800 os2008" thread, beginning with the linked post. It might provide some clues.

Ah, well, Maemo currently does not provide a simple, GUI-based way to set applications to automatically launch at startup. You could submit this deficiency to Maemo Brainstorm. Doing so won't solve the problem for you today, but it might lead to improvements in future Maemo releases or community development of a flexible startup launcher.

Try leafpad.
( I gave up on vi . .)

Use the emelfm2 file manager to locate a file.
Emelfm2 can edit files, and also let you open them in an app. of your choice.

You probably need to launch emel2fm in root mode:

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...679#post307679

Of course to be able to do this you need to be able to get root:

http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/rootsh/

I tried to edit the file they wrote but it didn't helped... The command was not started when the OS starts.
