What happens if you type (after cd'ing to the folder), just "./flasher-3.0.amd64" (without quotes)? You should get a help output something like:
Code:

Nothing to do!

@ pelago, Nothing happens after that. It just comes out ," raffi@ubuntu:~/Desktop/flasher$ "

Maybe you could try flasher-3.0-static from that same tablets-dev page.

I wonder what the filesize is ("ls -l"), and if you checked the checksum after download? Sounds extremely broken.

Re: Newbie need help flashing n810 from linux

@ qwerty12 - That didn't work either.

@Andre Klapper - How do i check the checksum? File size for flasher-3.0.amd64 is 608.4 KB. File size for flasher-3.0-static is 481.3 KB.

raffi@ubuntu:~/Desktop/flasher$ cksum flasher-3.0-static

Re: Newbie need help flashing n810 from linux

Hey guys. I have flashed my n810, thanks to my old P4 system. Had to get some parts to complete the system to install Ubuntu. Thanks again. :)
