Nokia World 2009 news from Stuttgart
which is the biggest news: the nokia entering the computer market with its Booklet 3G or the N900 first Maemo phone, or the cheap Symbian touch devices XM5230 and XM5530 which with GPS and touch have a very competitive price of euro 149?

Videos will be a big ask (1: I don't like hearing - or seeing myself - natch; 2: editing and publishing is a lot of work) Text: definitely. Both in this thread and - more easily (assuming there's decent wifi) - Twitter. |

20 friends onto your homescreen, along with communities such as Facebook and it’s also a fully connected social butterfly. Did we mention the 35 hours of music playback? 16 days standby time 5-megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash, TV-out, video editing, online sharing, Nokia Music store, full web browser and Flash Lite support. A-GPS, Ovi Maps and Playlist DJ. If you fancy a bit of gaming, then Spore is included, along with DJ Mix Tour and Asphalt4. 450 euro - same as N97 mini The X3 is a S40 device... this is strange, this is not symbian, not maemo, and why they still use s40 which as a platform is limited to only Java? |

Re: Nokia World 2009 news from Stuttgart
The live Stream from the Nokia conversations site does not even work on the IT's itself. Too bad. I am up in bed at 4 in the morning and cant catch the event unless I switch on the desktop.
Any streams that can be played on the IT itself ? But good news coming out indeed .... |

Re: Nokia World 2009 news from Stuttgart
There's no real reason to wait for "step 5", actually. Every manufacturer ALWAYS have a better device in work, it's an unending process and one can wait for the best one forever. Motorola & Samsung work on NVidia Tegra phones, Apple works on improved iPhone and internet tablet, and after that there will be better chips and new devices in work, better again.
N900 is absolutely cool and that won't change no matter next devices. |

So Quim on twitter says he is able to watch the live stream on his N900 over 3G. That says something about he N900 indeed.

The N900 from a Community Perspective http://bit.ly/BzxXG ''I noticed that the N900 has the well known S60 video streaming app, “Qik,” available in the repositories, but I didn't have a chance to try it out. I think we might see some very interesting video streaming apps become available in the future. Perhaps news reporters will stream video live from their N900s as events happen?'' |

I must have missed something! I thought that Quim announced that the representation from the Maemo Community was in the form of Andrew and Tim. I did not realize that qole (Alan) was also going to Stuttgart! Cool ! Nice review indeed!
