A major drawback for WM is that it runs on a huge variety of hardware. No application developer in their right mind will choose to target a single device.
This particular Snapdragon will have a lot of free time on its hands (wings?) while it effortlessly runs what 90% of other WM phones can already handle. Shiny toy you'll have, but not software that can make the most of it. I'd really like to see a healthy competition from WM, but we'll have to wait until WM 7 is out. |
