Great old games no one else played

The emulator thread has me feeling a bit nostalgic, but the best thing to me about nostalgia game threads is new discovery. I can start it off with a couple of suggestions. Let's see what we can come up with.

NES: Kirby's adventure. This is probably far more popular than I think it is, but I never saw it before my kids found it in my "pile" of ROMs. It's a very clever game, with more complexity than I thought possible on the old two button NES controll pad.

Sega Master System: Phantasy Star. RPG game with great animation. The way that the characters moved on the top down map was quite unique at the time, as was the battle scene animation, which showed streaks for each strike. Also anytime you were inside a dungeon, it switched to a (nearly 3D) first person POV. The story was cool too, but I don't remember it at all now.

PS1: Intelligent Qube. This 3D puzzle game is indescribably good. It was such an immersive experience, and a good game in so many ways. If you ever get a chance to play this game, DO IT! Watch the tutorials before you play, and you will perfectly understand how to play it. The game is played on a two dimensional field, but it is displayed in three dimentions, adding something nearly tangible to the puzzle. Be sure to play it with the sound on, as this is one of the best audio experiences I can think of in all of video gaming history. If you can play it on a larger screen in a dark room, even better. Also, strangely your score on your very first game will be eerily similar to your actual I.Q. You can emulate PS1, and it looks sooo much better in emulation than it ever did on a tube tv, but finding the ROMs is not easy, because of their size. You almost have to have the physical media.

I remember buying the cart of Kirby's Adventure, a game ahead of it's time. There is also a [loose] remake for the GBA called Kirby's Magic Mirrors which plays fine on VGBA.

I used to have Kirby's Adventure. Loved it, beat it.

I still have Intelligent Qube, but my original copy got scratched during our move from Texas to Colorado a few year ago. Good thing I made a backup before we left. x:

Never had the Sega Master System, so I couldn't play it. I had the NES/SNES/GB(Original&Color)/GameGear/Playstation.

Original Playstation I traded out for a modded PSOne to my friend. Still works nicely.

I still have my NES and it works.

I had to pawn my original SNES when we lived with my father...long story. I got a new one about 4 years ago.

Gameboy got old and when I got my color, I stopped using it. No longer have either one.

GameGear I foolished traded to a friend for a very small Ninja Turtle action figure. Worst, trade, ever.

Super Ninja Boy for the SNES wasn't all that bad, even with it's faults. If you got good at it, it was pretty decent. Music was not up to par, but I changed that with a rearrangement of the Boss Theme w/ Intro. ^_^
