I'd very much appreciate this. It's uncertain when, if ever, I'll be able to get an n900.

It's in my TODO list :)

The fact is, however, that there is almost nothing new comparing to the Chinook version.

But it'll be done..

Can we vote even on the base of your Diablo version? let's say, a vote on trust? :D;) You are giving the community a really useful contribution!

If the planned evernote integration could be backported to Diablo, this could be a very nice cerry on top of an already "great" pie!

Also, Do you have any plan of localization? Is there any place where translators could look at to start?

All the best,
Matyas

All the text I'm using can be localized. I'll point you to the right files today or tomorrow.

Well you can register and vote, but you can also try it first in the SDK and vote based on that.

About the "Sharing" via services. For the time being I've to hold this feature.
They published the APIs to create your own Sharing Manager plugin, but they didn't reveal the APIs for us developers. to make use of the Sharing Manager.

Currently only Photos and Media Player make use of it.

I don't plan to add the sharing myself for now, it'd be reinventing the wheel. So we've got to wait on that :(

PS: thanks for your support ! :)

Finally got around to trying this today.

How do I use portrait mode? I saw a portrait mode screenshot, but I can see no way to do that from within the app.

Is there an "undo" button that would undo a stroke?

Is there any way to hide the toolbar? Or move it to the side? Or make it smaller? It uses a lot of precious screenspace.

autohide the toolbar, swipe from bottom up to get it back?

@ qole

ctrl + z?

and for the toolbar he said he's looking into it, and i'd be a fan of that feature too

Yeah, I am looking at hiding the toolbar and a fast and non obtrusive way of calling it back.
I am looking at putting it on the side and slide in like we do for the browser when calling the mouse mode.

I am not sure on how I should tackle the slide-in effect. Clutter probably, but looks like only newer Clutter will be able to manipulate the GTK Widgets directly.

Anyway, that's the idea.

Undo and redo is also done via 'U'ndo and 'R'edo keys.
Like Zoom'I'n and Zoom'O'ut.

BTW, no portrait mode yet.. it was just a tentative to see how it behaved.

Next version should sport lots of refinement, new features AND bring back the actually missing ones that were present in Chinook.

I am not familiar with the use of Xournal and haven't had an opportunity to try the N900 so please don't shoot me if this is stupid, but isn't the fullscreen toggle functionality in the browser rather sweet?

It would mean a toggle button in the toolbar and still in the way when in fullscreen, but on the other hand it would be familiar from the browser.
