Sorry for this senseless thread, just wanted to try it. When trying to reply i get Tried to contact someone with the rights to confirm my account, but no success.

Gunni, your "Hi" post may not get anyones attention. Try making a new post with a title like "Moderator, please help!". Then one of the forum's moderators can respond.

You could also try signing out and then clicking on the "Forgot Password" link. I don't know the inner workings of this forum to know if it would help, but that's what I would try.

Thanks for all your help. Forgotten password was a nice idea, but still no success.
I know "Hi" is no good topic ... to late can not edit it, but on posting i just thought "Hey, i can post something, so only try if it works" and not thought about a better topic.
I will wait some time, maybe a mod sees my post :(

I've seen it, but I'm unable to spot a problem with your account. I'm new to being a vBulletin moderator though, so I may be missing something obvious.

To the best of my knowledge (and unless something has changed recently), you should be able to reply in threads created by others without confirming your email address. Other new members certainly have.

Have you tried (and failed) posting in multiple other threads or just one? If just one, which one is it?

But, I similarly just recently registered and was trying to look for my signature edit link.. turned out I needed 5 posts before that appeared. Might be something similar here?
