On android most people have Google Navi 4 free.
TomTom is available on WinMo, but like for Symbian (and all other OS) some hacks exist. Don't understand their argumentation.

Anyhow, there is OVI, and there is OSM with some nice and free apps.

tomtom does not find n900 but n900 finds tomtom so i guess its tomtom software problem

I hope there is another solution to the disaster called Ovi maps. Is the GPS really that bad in the phone? Because, if it is, the N900 is useless when it comes to maps/nav apps.

Here in the US, (Phoenix, AZ) the software/maps are SO out of date. That is if you can even get a GPS lock after 5 minutes.

Google maps would be ideal. Is it an absolute no go with Google?
