They're jerking us around. Out of curiosity, I chatted with a few reps online and on the phone today and each rep said a different thing. (from shipping this week, shipping next week, shipping end of October, shipping sometime this month)

This reminds me when the N97 came out...on the morning of they were still quoting end of June but that afternoon they started shipping (this was first week of June).

If I wasn't so impressed with the phone I think I would cancel my order, get the My Touch 3G (I want to get rid of my iPhone so bad), and wait for the N900 to go down in price before buying it.

I've said it before - this is a very poor display of "managing client expectations" from Nokia. Very poor. Shamefully so.

Haha actually the warehouses are in VA (Amazon) and PA (Newegg). None in Maryland =P. It's just because we're so all close that it ships so quickly even with free shipping.

Haha, even on the way into Virginia it's horrible. Don't know where in VA you are but if your interested in Vietnamese food you should go to Eden Center there. It's about the only time I'm in VA when I'm not travelling through the entire state to get to NC.

Who told you so? Earliest date I've heard about was that Nokia was trying(!) to get them out on October 12th in the german Nokia store (which long has been pushed to October 30th).

Based on the e-mail I just received back from Nokia regarding the ship date for my order, it looks like they're sticking to a mid-October release.

99% sure. There was something different in the status and when I checked a few minutes ago - it just looked different.

It has always said 'Item Not Shipped Yet' since day one of ordering... no you're just being plain mean by teasing...
