Rakia (also Rakija) is fruit brandy that is produced by distillation of fermented fruit; it is a popular beverage throughout the Balkans, Italy, and France. Its alcohol content is normally 40% ABV, but home-produced rakia can be stronger (typically 50% to 60%). Prepečenica is double-distilled rakia which has an alcohol content that may exceed 60%.
The best ones are in Serbia. :D

What, really? I'll have to quote Groucho Marx here;

Nakia N900 - It's a new fruit brandy. You can download the fruit that you want it to taste like from the Vakia Store. At the moment the only flavors are Prune and Durian but many more are being developed. Note that Durian requires root access. It is currently in stores, shipping, being produced, or in development (depending on who you believe).

For all of you waiting for your N900s to ship, yes, the N900 is even better than you think it is. Be happy that you've only seen some videos and read some articles that cannot possibly convey the astonishing mind-blowing overwhelming pure awesomeness that is the N900 experience.

Because if you had actually used an N900 for a while, you'd be even more upset that you don't have an N900 right now. You'd be bordering on insanity with frustration and unfulfilled craving.

So just be thankful.

Hi,

My first post here... I've been reading this for the last couple of days and I must say this is similar to what happened two and half years ago with the E90 (http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31037).
Just hope that I'll enjoy this beast as I did the E90.

Unfortunately Mobile Phones Direct do:

Quote:

Mobile Phones Direct currently uses Royal Mail special delivery to dispatch your new phone. Due to distant selling regulations set by the Networks, all phones must be sent to the customers billing address as supplied for your network credit check. If you or another authorised person are not available to sign for the parcel, then you will be supplied with a card with your delivery reference and a contact telephone number for Royal mail. Your package will then be stored at the local sorting office where you can arrange to collect it, or have the goods delivered on an alternative date.
But there is also a ray of hope in their terms and conditions:

Quote:

We cannot be held responsible for disruption to shipping caused by industrial disputes or action outside our direct control. If such disruption occurs you will be offered delivery via an alternative delivery or fulfilment company or a full refund.
On the other hand it would be hard to say what will happen first. Royal Mail end their strikes or Nokia releasing the N900.

Also, I recall the last time Royal Mail did a big strike they hired extra staff to do Special Delivery so that at least those were on time.

Exactly! It's not good business, and people in this day and age don't want that. Nokia needs to wake up and realize they aren't the same in-demand company they were six years ago.

Don't really see how his statement was stupid... it's a simple question, with a difficult answer.

We were suppose to get at the end of Sept, then mid Oct, now end of Oct, early Nov, Dec--no one knows because we can't get an answer... so yeah it usually isn't good business strategy to play around with the people on which your income comes in from.

When a phone comes out companies give a date, if the date needs to get pushed back, then they say there will be a delay... you don't just ignore your customer base especially with a device like this that everyone wants.
