Re: SNES on N900
There are not .debs in garage, try http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/drnoksnes/ .
Also, for Wiimote input you'll need Wiicontrol. |
Re: SNES on N900
Hey javis!
You said there was going to be another update for this about two weeks ago. Any chance of giving out some exciting news for us today? :) |
Re: SNES on N900
I don't like surprises :) ; I've been pushing a version at least every week to extras-devel, and that's the one you can expect to enter ("stable")extras "soon" -- in fact, the one I uploaded today is the one I'll promote if nobody complains.
VS the current one in Diablo extras, it has sw scaling, onscreen buttons grid (partial), superfx games working (includes yoshi island without gfx glitches), the new artwork & icons by wazd :), x86 versions for scratchbox, and of course, Fremantle compatibility. |

Witness!
Dude! Has anyone ever written a song about you? :D |
Re: SNES on N900
Thanks Javis!
Software scalling looks so much better! It doesn't look out of focus like it used to with hardware scaling. :) I take it that you completely removed the feature of not having any scaling at all as well? I know that 1x is really small on the screen but I actually didn't mind it. |
Re: SNES on N900
Is there any chance of being able to use game genie codes?

Re: SNES on N900
I've just added native zeemote support to drnoksnes. This means that the user doesn't have to care for a specific setup, the zeemote will just work out of the box and will be connected automatically when the game starts and is being disconnected when the game ends.
Some work will have to go into the control setup page, so it's possible to assign the buttons of the zeemote and the hardware keyboard independently. Currently the zeemote buttons are hard coded. I'll bring the setup to the summit. |

Re: SNES on N900
Favor request for anyone that has this on their N900.
Could someone enter these values and post back their impressions on speed and performance: 60 fps No hardware scaling Accurate graphics Enable sound Just wondering if the new tablet can handle this workload. Thanks! |
