One quick way of increasing the installable app space is by creating symlinks :)

Could you elaborate on how and when I should be creating symlinks?
Do they persist after reboot? if not, how do I make them do that?

Any additional "intel" on when a Maemo KOffice might be available? Is Easy Debian + Open Office likely to be the only way to use .xls files? Can someone post a link to the "How To" Wiki entry?

Thanks

You can use DocsToGo trial version for now to use .xls files.

use google docs to open up the doc., docx, etc. There is a 1gb limit tho.

Limit = sarcasm lol

i hope that looked...I 'm not that concerned about a dedicated office app.
