hi,
I just downloaded version 0.2.1-1 for N900 and it doesn't run.
I have for a short time an image of a mouse arrow and then application closes. same behaviour as before.
did you actually upload your latest and greatest version ? :)

thanks for your efforts anyway, love to wake up by it every morning... only second to a nice beautifull girl kissing me awake ;)

The Fremantle (And Diablo) repositories are being stupid... I'm going to get the debmasters to just delete all traces of Flip from them and we'll start again with uploading as they don't want to do version changes properly... we should be up to Version 0.9.7, and instead the repos are stuck back at 0.2.1... in the mean time, grab from the garage page:

ok, thanks for the hint. It refuses to install due to an missing dependency : libsdl-gfx1.2-4. I tried an apt-get for it but no go. Where can I find that one ?

Thanks. About to get the goodevening kiss from the nice beautifull girl so it might have to wait a few hours before I can try touching my N900 again for any real stuff... :-D

You need to make sure you've got extras-devel repository enabled on the N900; that will provide you with libsdl-gfx and anything else you need.

grrrr this is stupid. Of course I had it defined and enabled as of day one I had my phone. But something recently must have gone wrong. I checked in App Manager and there is was, enabled. as it was always. I disabled it, saved. Enabled it again, saved. and then did an upgrade. and Flipcclock 0.9.7-2 appeared and installed fine. funny things here. Guess what, all runs fine.
If i don't have the kisses in the morning (worst case), then at least I'll have Flipclock. mmmm, not really a comparison but way better than a hotel TV emitting loud beeps

quick check...,no, shepherd still hasn't appeared. I can't blame it on this nuisance then ...

Really nice work with this one. Two previous fremantel version i have tried have not worked and i actually didn't know how this app looks in N900.
Best looking Maemo 5 app i have yet tried.

when i click on the .deb file it is asking me for a specific app to open it with. Do I need special app for this ?

You might want to wait till the right version comes up in Extra-devel repository.

Here's how can you install deb file using xterminal if you wanna install it now.

k it worked but app didnt. Opens gives a black screen and closes. I'll wait for the official one,

i have installed flicpclock on my N900, it works and looks lovely. but when i clicked on Night mode. i have no option to bring it back to day mode. only icon appearing on right bottom, when clicked, kills the program. can any one tell me how to have the day mode back?
