You are technically right BUT when I select busy, you can see my status in MSN Messenger on a computer as "Busy" with the red circle. My wife and I tried it. She has MSN on her computer as well as aMSN on the N900 and it showed her that I was "Busy" when I selected busy.

Weird huh? I don't care lol as long as I have another option besides "online" and "offline". Sometimes I want to be online to see who is online but don't want all of my contacts bothering me so choosing "busy" helps me out a lot.

hi guys

when i try signing into any account on the im client plugins e.g. facebook or any msn's, i get a error message coming up telling me that its not available...

this is been happening since the first day installed it, and have tried uninstalling and installing many times but still happens.

very annoying

anyone have the same problems

I'm not finding telephy-haze in the repository :( I just got the phone yesterday so any help would be grateful.

Haze is a part of Extra protocol plugins.

On separate note, I installed Msn(butterfly) and it is showing contacts that I deleted long time ago. Also if I delete them again, they show up after reeboot. Any idea ?

So been trying to find any info about this without any luck.

I'm in a couple fairly active skype chats that i try to keep track of using conversations.
I often open the window and scroll up some to read what I've missed during the last 10-15minutes and here is my problem. If a new message comes in when i'm scrolled up I get sent to the bottom again and have to scroll back up again. This can get quite annoying of you got a messagte coming in every 10-15seconds.

Is there anyway to get it to stop jumping to the bottom on a new message if i'm scrolled up in a conversation?

telepathy-haze is using 100% of my CPU... even across reboots. Ugh.

today i discover the most stable IM plugins combo ...

Use just Pidgin protocols plugin for everything except MSN (Haze) accounts ... and use only MSN Pecan for msn accounts...

in that way ... no more errors on any network (gprs or wifi) no more unable to login... no more random logouts from any account...

i am using 2 msn pecan accounts... and facebook and skype with pidgin protocols plugin ...

and one twitter account with the twitter plugin...

all logged at the same time no problems at all

try it ...
