Depends on what you mean by root directory. If you used file manager then the files should be in /home/user/MyDocs/

if you put them in the actual root then they should be in / and you should move them away from there.

I recommend making a directory for the scummvm data file under MyDocs (which is the root in file manager)

Tried to find out in the thread, but couldnīt find.
While browsing for the games I found two different versions. A light one and a heavy one (VGA?). Which one should I get?
Cheers,

Cheers,

At a guess, the heavy one (the N900 should be plenty capable) - which game is this though?

There were many with the same characteristic.
For example, Monkey Island 1, I found four different files.

ScummVM Games - Not Compressible / Monkey Island 1 (EGA-Floppy).rar 1.4 MB
ScummVM Games - Not Compressible / Monkey Island 1 (FMTOWNS).rar 3.2 MB
ScummVM Games - Not Compressible / Monkey Island 1 (VGA-CD).rar 3 MB
ScummVM Games - Not Compressible / Monkey Island 1 (VGA-Floppy).rar 2.9 MB

in this case size is not too different, but in other cases it is (>10X bigger).

I guess I'll try all and let you know ;)

It's probably best to keep this thread just for technical discussions about the Maemo port of ScummVM, and discuss obtaining games and torrents etc. on other, more ROM-friendly, forums.

A hearty hello and a thank you to fanoush for maintaining this port and a thanks to anyone else working on scummvm!

I just finished The 7th Guest on n900 and it worked great.
Next in line is Legend of Kyrandia.

Is there anything preventing ScummVM from landing in extra-testing?

I tried both and its just the same... ScummVM is one of the best things I have in my N900 :)

The only problem I have is that I don't know how to access the menu after being in the game, bringing two big problems:
1) I can't save on request (I only rely on the autosave)
2) I can't close/minimize the game (I have to press power button to get the game minimized, and then click the X)

Cheers.
